A wonderful stay with wonderful people.Thanks.

Dave and I came here to celebrate Dave's 77th Birthday. The weather was perfect. The views from Mark Addy were fabulous. Breakfasts were "to dieter". Relaxing by the fountain. We did the beer and cider tasting tours and were especially taken by the Crabtree Falls. It was such an isolated location, yet there were many people. There enjoying the sound and sight of the Falls.
We will be sure to recommend Mark Addy and its very kind staff.

Had an amazing 2-night stay. The breakfast was more than I could have hoped for, we definitely made the right choice to stay here rather than any chain hotel/motel. Sadly, we didn't go to any events listed or sightseeing. My girlfriend and I came to participate in a Spartan Race 20 minutes away in Arrington.
Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
I enjoyed our stay and felt like everyone was friendly. They accommodated a special request for breakfast my husband had. It was our 30th anniversary and we typically can’t spend that much money on a weekend getaway—and we’re glad we chose to stay with your inn. We loved our stay and all the extras given (sangria—much needed!!!; cookies, etc). Thank you again for your hospitality!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We especially want to thank Julie, the assistant manager, and Jacob, the chef. They were wonderfully accommodating! Especially with my food issues - Jacob went above and beyond. Thank You!

Last night we sat on the front porch after returned from dinner to see what stars we could find. Venus and Jupiter ruled a new moon sky, and we found the Big Dipper, though the lights from the house hid Polaris.
Tonight we returned and drove half a mile past the house, pulling over in an empty field at a lonely intersection. Away from even the simple rustic lighting of the Mark Addy, we saw a see of stars, including the North star shinning above us. Later, we returned to the Inn and clambered onto a hammock in the backyard to spy constellations through the tree cover.

What a very beautiful place, we all enjoyed the stay, mountain views, the breakfast was yummy. We all thank you!
Bradley and Sarah here from Wilmington, NC! We came to the Mark Addy in the first leg of our 10 year wedding anniversary celebration & it didn’t disappoint!
We love the views, the ultimate quaters +location. We’ve enjoyed guest food and booze from Wild Wolf and Devils Backbone + hiked the Crab Tree Falls and Wigwam Falls trail.

We had a very enjoyable two night stay. Leslie was very welcoming, told us about the venues in the area, and gave us discounts to Monticello. We were able to see all of our points of interest on this trip, but would like to come back for more. The room is beautiful and comfortable, but the best thing about The Mark Addy is the breakfast. When they say gourmet food, they’re understating the fact. The food is beautifully presented and tastes wonderful.
Our weekend getaway away from adulating, and was certainly what the doctor ordered! Reminded us of our childhood homes including the comfort and feeling of safety. Breakfast and hospitality were great. Thank you for filling the prescription!

We stayed here with our beloved Golden retriever “Lumen”. Enjoyed our time very much. Jacob was very courteous and hospitable host and served us wonderful breakfast. Floor creaks a lot, and it’s a challenge not to, but that’s what gives a home like this its charm. Thank you so much for a chance to stay here.

Time to check out and I leave with a fond memory of my stay at the Addy Inn. We stayed here because of a gift from our daughter. I was reluctant about staying because I had never stayed at a B&B. But the homemade gluten-free oatmeal cookies won my heart. We wine toured up and down 151 and came back for a wonderful night’s rest. Thank you Leslie and Rafi, see you soon.

Thank you for a peaceful (and delicious) stay – a much needed break from our usual schedules. Peace and blessings to you both Raf and Leslie.
This was the perfect getaway for my husband and me. As soon as we got there, we felt relaxed and forgot about reality. The innkeepers were friendly and interacted with the guests. We were able to meet other guests and have great conversations with them on the front porch in the evening. The breakfasts were fantastic and they went above and beyond catering to our gluten-free needs. We stayed in the Sundance room, which was great - quiet and private and it had a private door to the grounds which was easy since we had our dog. They are super pet-friendly and I would definitely go back to the Mark Addy.
Our Stay was Perfect!
No TV, no distractions, just a relaxing weekend getaway. It was a pleasure to sit on the front porch, sip Sangria, and chat with the innkeepers and the other guests. The breakfast was delicious and boasted ingredients grown on the property. There was plenty to do in the area and we enjoyed our stay at Mark Addy and left ready to face and conquer another busy week in the bustling "real world". We will return!

The inn is charming! The view from the front porch is amazing. The room was quiet comfortable and the porch for morning and evening drinks was relaxing. The food is wonderful! I hope we can come back soon.

Best Memorial Day weekend in years
The owners are wonderful people, food is excellent! Charming place, beautiful setting, friendly atmosphere. We will book again this Fall and hit the wineries we missed, which are plenty. Can't wait to return!

Exactly what we needed
Leslie and Rafi create a warm and welcoming environment that sets the tone for a relaxing weekend (or weekday). We stayed with them on a Sunday-Tuesday stay, which made the experience much more personal. From what I understand, they are packed during the weekends, but during the week it slows down a bit and gives you the opportunity to get to know them and the other guests.
The Mark Addy is a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to several places to eat and a few wineries, vineyards, cideries, and breweries. Additionally, the Crabtree Falls hiking trail is only a half hour away if you need to take a break from the wine/cider/brewery scene that is ubiquitous in this part of VA. There is a book in each room that informs you of the things to do in the area.
The front porch is a meeting place for everyone and a prefect place to watch the sunset. The sheets were soft (to the point that both my wife and I noticed) and the beds comfy. There's a convenient small guest kitchen with a fridge for your leftovers. The only other thing I should say is bring a few tennis balls if you're bringing your dog, because there are huge fields in front of and along the sides of the house. Enjoy your time there, I know we did!

Even our dog enjoyed his time
Leslie, Rafi, and your crew - thank you all for a truly wonderful and relaxing stay. We had a terrific time staying here. The B&B is warm and inviting; our room was well-appointed and cozy; and the area is full of exciting places to explore. Oh, and breakfast was great, too! Even our dog enjoyed his time. He loved his milkbone, and didn't mind one bit sharing his other treat with your pooch :) Thank you again very much, and we hope to make a return visit again sometime (maybe for some snow skiing this winter). At the very least, we will recommend the Mark Addy to friends venturing up to the Charlottesville/Nellysford area.
