Guests are welcome to arrive and check-in between 3 and 7 p.m. for a guided checkin and tour of the house. Please make prior arrangements to arrive outside of this window and we are happy to accommodate! Our check-in time has no "set end", as we understand our guests have lives outside of vacation!
Check-out time is 11 a.m. unless prior arrangements have been made.
In order to confirm your reservation, the property collects 100% of the balance due at time of booking.(please see below for change/cancellation policy information) We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash. Upon arrival your balance will be fully taken care of unless you add retail items to your reservation throughout your stay! (example-dinner tickets, breakfast mimosa's, tours, massages, etc)
Cancellation and Refunds*
There is a $50 service fee for cancellations made 15 days or more before your arrival time. If a cancellation is made during the 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival, the entire cost of your stay is due. CANCELLATION OF RESERVED DRIVER, MASSAGE, OR DINNER IN THE FOUNTAIN ROOM MUST BE MADE WITH AT LEAST 14 DAYS' NOTICE OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED $100.
We welcome children 4 years old or older. Younger children may be accepted with prior approval. Parents (or their designee) are responsible for supervising their children. We do not have cribs or high chairs. Babysitting services may be arranged with advance notice.
We love pets and are able to accommodate them in one of our pet-friendly rooms (Tiger Lily, Schloss, and Sundance). There is a $25 to $50 per pet per stay fee based on the weight of the pet.
Smoking is allowed on the proches or other outdoor areas only.
Our guest kitchen is provided for your use. Please mark all personal items with your name. We cannot be responsible for items consumed by other guests.
We offer a wide selection of wine and beer for consumption in the dining areas and guest rooms. As a Virginia ABC-licensed facility, consumption of your personal alcoholic beverages is restricted to your room and any porch or balcony attached to your room.
Gift certificates are available by mail, telephone, or email. Upon receipt of payment, a gift certificate will be mailed to your designee.
Rates are based on double occupancy. Additional people/beds are $25.
Lost and Found
Items left or lost at the Inn will be returned via USPS with a $15 service fee and the cost of postage.
*This cancellation policy does not apply to special events, group bookings, holiday weekends, or bookings of two or more rooms by one party. Upon confimation, the customer will be responsible for the entire reservation.
