Please be advised that we require all guests to be vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, you must provide proof of a negative test done within 72 hours before arrival. We recommend that everyone wear masks but they are optional if you are vaccinated. If you have not been vaccinated, masks must be worn at all times.
Guests are welcome to arrive and check-in between 3 and 7 p.m. for a guided check-in and tour of the house. Please make prior arrangements to arrive outside of this window and we are happy to accommodate! Our check-in time has no “set end”, as we understand our guests have lives outside of vacation!
Availability of rooms and suites may be viewed online. No reservation is guaranteed until we have issued a confirmation.
Check-out time is 11 a.m. unless prior arrangements have been made.
Reservations may be made online, by calling 434-361-1101 at any time, or by email. Reservations are held with a deposit only and are guaranteed upon our confirmation to you.
In order to confirm your reservation, the property collects 100% of the balance due at time of booking.(please see below for change/cancellation policy information) We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash. Upon arrival your balance will be fully taken care of unless you add retail items to your reservation throughout your stay!
Cancellation and Refunds*
There is a $50 service fee for cancellations made 15 days or more before your arrival time. If a cancellation is made during the 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival, the entire cost of your stay is due.
We welcome children 4 years old or older. Younger children may be accepted with prior approval. Parents (or their designee) are responsible for supervising their children. We do not have cribs or high chairs.
Smoking is allowed on the proches or other outdoor areas only.
Our guest kitchen is provided for your use. Please mark all personal items with your name. We cannot be responsible for items consumed by other guests.
We offer a wide selection of wine and beer for consumption in the dining areas and guest rooms. As a Virginia ABC-licensed facility, consumption of your personal alcoholic beverages is restricted to your room and any porch or balcony attached to your room.
Gift certificates are available by mail, telephone, or email. Upon receipt of payment, a gift certificate will be mailed to your designee.
Rates are based on double occupancy. Additional people/beds are $25.
Lost and Found
Items left or lost at the Inn will be returned via USPS with a $15 service fee and the cost of postage.
*This cancellation policy does not apply to special events, group bookings, holiday weekends, or bookings of two or more rooms by one party. Upon confimation, the customer will be responsible for the entire reservation.
